About Us
Our Story
The Texas Tech PIKE Moms Club began in 2016 with one Mom’s vision of having a Moms Weekend and to provide tangible and monetary support for the Chapter.
The goals of the Moms Club are to have a Moms Weekend every spring semester, build a base of finances to purchase big ticket items for the Lodge, assist the Chapter financially with their improvement projects to the Lodge and provide support during Recruitment every Fall and Spring semester.
The biggest and most fun part of the Moms Club is the annual Moms Weekend. It is a weekend dedicated to Moms and Sons bonding over the weekend, meeting their friends and making new friends with the other Moms!
Philosophy of Moms Weekend
The philosophy of having a Moms Weekend is to bridge the gap between the relationship with your son as a child to young adult and into the future.
You both are figuring out how this new dynamic will work.
The weekend is also about YOU! To be celebrated, put on a pedestal, take pictures together, meet his friends, make new friends with the Moms, create new memories and be the one who is celebrated and loved on! And to foster your unique dynamic into the future.
An added bonus of the weekend is that the moms are mostly strangers to each other on the first night, but they leave as new friends and look forward to seeing each other at the next Moms Weekend!
